Terms of Service
Last updated October 17, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and ByteLink (“we”, “us”) about using aislop at https://aislop.world (the “service”). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. Who can use aislop
Anyone can look around without an account. To suggest ideas, vote, rent a place or buy credits you sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 13 years old (or older if your country requires it) to sign in. If you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy credits. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
2. A shared world
aislop is one world shared by everyone. Places change when ideas win a vote, when someone who rents a place changes it, and when we look after the world. Nobody owns a place, including the places you rent or the ones your ideas changed. Changes stay until something changes them again, but we don't promise that any place, change or the world itself will stay the same or stay available forever.
3. Your ideas
Ideas and change requests you write are public. Other players see them, and the ones that get built are shown on the place, on its page and in search results. You keep any rights you have in what you write, but you give us a worldwide, free, permanent licence to store, show, change, translate into the world and share it as part of running and promoting the service. Only write things you have the right to share.
Changes are made by an AI from your words and the current state of the place. The result can differ from what you meant, and we don't claim any ownership of AI-made results on your behalf. They're part of the shared world.
To run the service, we send some information to these providers, who process it for us:
- Cloudflare hosts aislop and runs the AI. Your ideas and change requests, together with a description of the place, are sent to Anthropic's Claude models through Cloudflare Workers AI to build changes and write place descriptions.
- TypeSafe checks ideas against our rules before they're built.
- Stripe processes payments. It gets your email address and payment details; we never see your card number.
- Google handles sign-in. We get your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account.
Don't put personal information in your ideas: they're public and go to these providers. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and your rights.
4. Rules
Keep it friendly for everyone. Don't use the service to:
- ask for anything violent, hateful, sexual, harassing, or harmful to children;
- spell out words, slogans, symbols, links or advertising in the world, or show real people;
- share someone's personal information, or infringe anyone's rights;
- trick or work around the AI, the moderation, the vote or the limits (for example with many accounts);
- attack, overload, scrape at scale or reverse-engineer the service, or break any law.
Ideas are checked automatically before they're shown and again before they're built. We may remove ideas or changes, undo changes, and limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without a refund of credits used to break them.
5. Credits
Credits are a virtual item for use in aislop only. You can use them to rent a place and to make changes in a place you rent. Prices are shown before you buy; taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live. Purchases are sold through Stripe, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record) and handles payment, tax, receipts and payment support under its own terms; we never see or store your card details.
- Credits have no cash value. They can't be sold, transferred to another account, or exchanged for money.
- Credits are added to your account right away after payment. Before checkout you're asked to confirm, by ticking a box, that you want them delivered immediately and that you lose your right to cancel the purchase once they're delivered (including the 14-day right of withdrawal in the EU and UK, where it applies). You can't buy credits without confirming this.
- Purchases aren't refundable, except where the law requires it, or where we or Stripe (as the reseller) decide otherwise. If a purchase is refunded, we may remove the credits it bought from your account. If a change you paid for doesn't happen (it fails, is declined or is cancelled before it starts), the credit or included change goes back to your account automatically.
- If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may remove the credits it bought or close the account.
- We may change prices, packs and what credits can be used for in the future. That doesn't affect credits you've already bought, except as described in section 8.
6. Renting a place
Renting costs 10 credits for 7 days and includes 3 changes; extra changes cost 1 credit each. While you rent a place, only you can change it. A rental starts right away, can't be paused or cancelled, and isn't refundable. When it ends, your changes stay in the world and the place opens up for everyone's ideas again. If we remove a place's changes or end a rental because of a rule break, there's no refund.
7. Free play
Exploring, suggesting ideas and voting are free, with daily limits. Free public changes depend on the world's shaping budget and may be paused, slowed down or stopped.
8. Changes to the service, and ending it
aislop is a young project. We may change, pause or stop any part of it. If we shut down the service for good, we'll give at least 30 days' notice on the site and refund the unused bought credits on accounts that ask within that time, in proportion to what they paid. You can stop using the service at any time; to delete your account, see the Privacy Policy.
9. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. It runs on the GPU of your device and may not work on every device or browser. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or that AI changes will match what was asked for.
10. Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability to you for anything to do with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we'll tell signed-in players in the game before it applies. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
